A federal High Court has granted the former minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika and three others bail to the tune of 100 million naira each with two sureties in like sum.
The court also ruled that one of the sureties must own a landed property in the fct with certificate of occupancy duely signed by the FCT minister but they will be remanded in the correctional centre if they failed to meet the condition.
The court however, barred all of them from leaving the country without the permission of the court.
The court adjourned to 10th, 11th and 20th of June for commencement of trial.
Earlier, the former minister had pleaded not guilty to the six -count- charge leveled against him by the Economic and financial crimes commission.
He was arraigned alongside three others, including his daughter, Fatima; Jalal Hamma and Al-Duraq Investment Ltd, for abuse of office to the tune of N2.7billion.
The former minister was invited by the Abuja Zonal Command of the commission on the alleged contract malfeasance and was interrogated and detained by the commission.
