Government at all levels have have been advised to first evaluate the people’s needs before moving to implement policies.
The Multiple Council Chairperson, Lions Club International Ayobola Samuel, stated this at a news conference marking the commencement of their district’s convention in Ibadan.
Amid the ongoing reform policies by the present administration, Nigerians are still facing hardships which has prompted various groups and organizations to offer advice to the country’s leadership.
In a similar move, members of the Lions International Multiple District 404 Nigeria have voiced concerns about rising poverty levels and persistent lack of basic amenities by Nigerians.
They believe that assessing the needs of Nigerians before implementing policies is crucial to addressing these challenges effectively.
The media briefing was followed by the club’s convention where keynote speakers advised the organization to continue to proffer solutions to the social as health challenges of Nigerians in this critical period.
The event which had delegates from across Nigeria aimed to encourage humanitarian services for global and national development.
