There was a palpable fear in Osogbo, Osun state capital as a strange man allegedly raped a ninety three year old woman in her house.The man was said to have broken into the nonagenarian’s house located at service area in Osogbo to perpetrate his evil work.
It was gathered that the nonagenarian was the only person at home when the man barged into her room in broad daylight, gagged her and forced her to bed.
According to findings, some of the neighbours of the victim were said to have heard her screaming while the suspect was escaping after the act.
Confirming the incident, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola said the victims was treated at the Police Clinic after the incident.
Yemisi Opalola who said the incident was reported to the Police after four days noted that the command is working to ensure the perpetrator is brought to book.
