At least fourteen people have been killed and several others injured when a trailer loses control during Friday prayers in Kano.TVC News reports that the tragic road crash occurred in Imawa Town, Kura Local Government Area of Kano State.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) RS1.2 Kano Sector Command, led by Commander CC Abdullahi, reported the incident.
According to preliminary reports, the trailer lost control and collided with the pedestrians.
The FRSC personnel, along with other security agencies, were dispatched to the scene to initiate rescue operations and provide immediate medical assistance to the injured victims.
Commander Abdullahi reiterated the FRSC’s commitment to road safety and urged all road users to adhere strictly to traffic regulations to prevent such avoidable tragedies.
