A building under construction has collapsed, resulting in the deaths of six people, including the owner and his child.
The collapse, which occurred during heavy morning rainfall, also left eight others injured, currently receiving treatment at Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital.

The victims include construction workers and passersby who sought shelter from the rain.
Local authorities, including the Ward Head of Dorayi Babba, have expressed deep sorrow over the incident, highlighting the loss of innocent lives.

The cause of the collapse remains unclear, and the Kano State Hisbah Command has confirmed that investigations are underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
