The Chief of Air Staff, Marshal Hassan Abubakar arrived the Premier Airforce Base to inaugurate the Ground lighting systems at the Kaduna Military Airfield.
This enhancement, marked by the installation of the AVLITE-SPX Solar Aviation Solution, represents a significant milestone for the Nigerian Air Force.
This upgrade which aligns with the Chief of the Air Staff’s command philosophy will address the challenges of nighttime and low-visibility operations.
The project was praised for its local execution and the professional excellence of those involved, underscoring the strategic importance of the airfield in military operation.
The chief of air staff also inaugurated several key value addition projects at the NAF Base, Kaduna.
These include a Base Defence Coordination Centre, an Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Workshop, the installation of an Instrument Landing System at the Kaduna Military Airfield and others.
These developments represent significant strides in enhancing the operational efficiency, safety, and welfare of the Nigerian Air Force.
