Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has adjourned sitting in the case of Treasonable Felony, Terrorism and Other charges facing the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People Of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu till the 24th of September.
The Court had earlier directed Mr Kanu to open his defence in the case preferred by the Federal Government against him.
The court also says it will merge the practice direction of a criminal trial with that of the terrorism trial.
The court tells Mr Kanu to take section 17 of the Federal High Court Act to the AGF.
Section 17 of the FHC Act reads “In any proceedings in the Court, the Court may promote reconciliation among the parties thereto and encourage and facilitate the amicable settlement thereof.”
