The Executive Secretary of the Police Trust Fund has assumed office, promising to support the implementation of far-reaching police reforms.
Seidu Mohammed said the fund will fast-track ongoing project meant to improve the state of infrastructure in the force.
He assumes office as the third Executive Secretary since the establishment of the Police Trust Fund in 2019.
Seidu Mohammed promises to support the Federal Government’s reform programme for the police meant to improve operational efficiency in tackling the security challenges in the country.
The Fund has undertaken several projects including the barrack renovation and establishment of a warehouse in Dei-Dei, FCT.
Prior to his assumption of office, the Police Trust Fund had been the subject of an EFCC investigation.
