Governor of Abia state, Alex Otti believes that when the governed participates actively in the process of governance, society will be a better place.
He stated this when he rounded off Townhall Meetings with the different senatorial zones in Abia State.
The Townhall Meetings with residents of the State, to mark the Governor’s one year in office, have come to a climax.
In Aba, the people of Obingwa, Ugwunagbo, Ukwa East and West, Aba South and North local government areas, gathered to hear from the Governor as well as reel out their challenges to him.
They appreciated the efforts of the state government at fixing various infrastructure in the state.
For the Governor, the events were organised to achieve two things. First, to say thank you to residents for their support and then to know what his administration can do better in the days ahead.
