Governor Ahmadu Fintiri is encouraging the youth in the state to embrace the acquisition of skills created by the Information and Communication Technology space for self reliance and job creation.
The governor made the call While declaring open a 2-day Youth Summit on ICT skills at the state banquet hall Yola.
An ICT summit was convened by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth empowerment.
Governor Fintiri says his administration, had always placed youths at the centre of its programmes and projects especially in the area of education and entrepreneurship among other sectors.
He commended the eagerness of the participants to acquire new skills in ICT at the summit.
Mr. fintiri urged the youths to commit to innovation, continuous learning and progress as well as collaboration with one another to build Adamawa state
Youths across the twenty one local government areas of Adamawa State attended the Summit with the theme “Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders.
