The state attorney general and commissioner of Justice, Haruna Dederi disclosed this during a joint press conference at the Africa House of the Government House.
The Commissioner, who spoke on behalf of Governor Abba Yusuf, also criticised the State Police Commissioner for banning Eid-el-Kabir festivities without consulting the Governor.
He then called for peace and urged intervention from Nigerians and the international community to ensure stability in Kano.
