Addressing a news conference in Akure, NANS National Senate President, Henry Okunomo advised the government to take immediate and decisive action to prevent disruption of academic calendar.
The students’ National body said frequent strikes in universities have severely hampered the academic progress and well-being of students.
It also appealed to lecturers to also embrace dialogue and shift ground where necessary to avoid collapse of the education system.
