Nigerian pilgrims who are performing hajj in Saudi Arabia, have been encouraged to always drink a lot of water , stay away from direct sunlight throughout their stay in Mina , Arafah , Muzdalifa where they will observe the main hajj rites , in order to avoid heat stroke .

TVC News spoke to some Islamic scholars and Pilgrims in Saudi Arabia who have come to perform hajj. They shed light on hajj rites and it’s impacts .
This year, there were over fifty thousand Nigerian pilgrims who travelled to perform hajj .
They have been in Saudi Arabia for over three weeks and the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON is responsible for providing the welfare and services for pilgrims .
With preparations in place for the main hajj rites, Nahcon’s Chairman, Jalal Ahmad Arabi disclosed that; all issues raised by pilgrim welfare board from various states will be addressed.
The Commission hopes for a great hajj experience for all pilgrims .
