Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State, have resolved to put an end to the lingering crises rocking the party and embrace peace.
The agreement was reached at a reconciliatory meeting held at the Government House in Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa State.
It’s the first time that leaders of the APC in Plateau State will be meeting in a convivial atmosphere since it lost out at the 2023 general election .
Former Governor , incumbent Senator Simeon Lalong, Former Governor Joshua Dariye, Former Minister Pauline Talen and other party stalwarts were present at the meeting.
The meeting was hosted by the Nasarawa State Governor and midwifed by the reconciliatory committee of the party in Plateau State.
The meeting seeks to bring an end to lingering crises in the party in Plateau and get them to work as one.
After exhaustive deliberations, leaders of the party agreed to bury their differences and forge ahead.
The reconciliation will now provide a fertile ground for the party to strategise and form a formidable force ahead of the next general elections.
