Three students of the Lagos state University have been awarded N2.5 million each as grant by the Africa Centre of Excellence for Innovative and Transformative STEM Education for their outstanding entrepreneurial ideas.
Vice-Chancellor of LASU, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, represented by Director of ACEITSE-LASU Prof. Rasheed Sanni, said the grants were awarded to students whose proposals were found worthy of the centre’s support.
about 16 proposals were submitted by students on entrepreneurial skills, ideas and acquisitions but according to the three man committee represented by Prof. Banji Fajoyomi the winners’ proposals were original and relevant.
The awardees are Okyere Agyemang, Uchenna Uzuegbunam and Benjamin Onuorah.
