Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has backed the calls for a nationwide protest but stressed that it must be done peacefully.
Mr Obi who spoke when he paid a courtesy visit at Dr. Otti’s country home in Nvosi, Isialangwa South Local Government, appealed to government to listen to the demands of the protesters.
Governor of Abia State Alex Otti however disagrees with Peter Obi’s stance stressing that Nigerians have seen protests hijacked and nobody can assure the proposed protest would be done within the law and not harmful to the progress of the country.
