Mr. Lukashenko expressed his country’s willingness to collaborate with the Federal Republic of Nigeria when he met with the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, at his office in Belarus.
According to him, agriculture, food processing, industry, and education are significant areas of cooperation for Belarus.
The President of Belarus who spoke through an interpreter pointed out that Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s visit has further strengthened his administrations resolve to enhance bilateral relations with Nigeria and the key area his country would collaborate is on specialists training.

The First Lady also met with the Belarusian Minister of Education Andrey Ivanets who pointed out that there is currently a Nigerian student population which is about 600.
