Former Governor of Osun State and First national chairman of the all progressive Congress, Chief Bisi Akande, has been awarded a peace award for his love for humanity by the Apostle of Peace society international in Lagos.
The program turned an avenue to further stress the place of peace in National development of the country.
The Bishop Vinning Church Auditorium was filled with dignitaries from all works of life.
The Lord Bishop of Diocese of Lagos West and the National President, apostle of peace international set the tone for the program.
The Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos was the guest speaker.
In her lecture captioned Peace in Nigeria, the Professor said every Nigerian must strive for peace in the country especially at a time such as this.
The three individuals Chief Bisi Akande, Obi Okafor Ado Sanusi where described as selfless and embodiment of peace.
Inaugurated in 1998, apostle of peace society international has about thirty chapters across the country.
