The House of Representatives committee on HIV/AIDS , Tuberculosis and Malaria says it will ensure that the necessary penalty for organisations which discriminate against the employment of persons, over HIV/AIDS test.
The chairman of the committee made this known at an ongoing forum with the National AIDS Control Agency in Lagos.
He describes as no longer acceptable a situation where Nigerians are denied employment over HIV/AIDS test.
He says the House Of Representatives will ensure that penalties are imposed on organisations or companies that engage in such acts of discrimination.
