Governor of Kogi State Ahmed Ododo has reassured students and management of the Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara of improved security on the campus.
He stated this when he met 29 students of the university who were rescued from their abductors who had attacked the university campus and took away 31 students on the 9th of May, 2024.
The Governor promised to complete the perimeter fencing of the university within 16 weeks and ensure full security surveillance for round-the -clock emergency response by security agencies.
Governor Ododo also promised to immortalize two slain students of the university, James Anajuwe and Caleb Musa who were killed by their abductors.
