Non academic workers at the University of Ilorin are currently protesting over the non-payment of their salary arrears.
They had earlier held a congress at the university auditorium before coming out for the protest.

The unions participating in the protest include Non Academic Staff Union (NASU) and Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities.
They are equally demanding for the payment of their #50 billion naira earned allowance arrears.
