The president general of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu is dead.
In a statement by Iwuanyanwu family of Umuohii Atta, Ikeduru local government area of Imo State, the president general died Thursday at age of 82.
Mr. Iwuanyanwu was elected as the Ohaneze NDIGBO President General in 2023.

He was selected to fill in the vacuum created by the death of former PG, who is also from Imo state.

Ohaneze NDIGBO is the apex Igbo socio cultural group saddled with the task to see to the affairs of Ndigbo.
