TVC News multiple award-winning current affairs programme, Journalists’ Hangout has won the TV Programme of the Year Award at the inaugural edition of the Eko Mi, Eko E Awards in Lagos.
At the ceremony, organised by the publisher of Eko Mi, Eko E newspaper, Bestman Nze-Jumbo to celebrate excellence and innovation in various sectors within Lagos, Journalists’ Hangout beat programmes like TVC News Politics Tonight, Politics Today on Channels TV and The Morning Show on Arise to win the Award.
It’s the maiden edition of Eko Mi, Eko E Awards held in Lagos, South-West Nigeria.
The organiser of the award and publisher of Eko Mi, Eko E newspaper, Bestman Nze-Jumbo said the programme is aimed at rewarding notable Nigerians for positive contributions to good governance and humanity.
At the event, TVC News multiple award-winning current affairs programme, Journalists’ Hangout won the TV Programme of the Year award, beating other nominated programmes like Politics Tonight, Politics Today and The Morning Show in the process.
At the event, LTV won the Best TV Station in Lagos award, the Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, led by the dynamic and hardworking Tokunbo Wahab, won the Best Lagos State Ministry Award, and Hakeem Smith, Chairman of the Lagos State Special Committee on Rehabilitation of Public Schools, received the Outstanding Public Administrator award.
It was a night of excellent entertainment, with several artists dazzling the crowd with their captivating performances.
