Six persons have been confirmed dead along Benue Wukari road earlier today by bandits.
The Chairman of Takum Local government area of Taraba state John Ali
made this known to newsmen in Jalingo.
He says a commercial vehicle conveying passengers from Takum to Wukari was attacked along Benue/Takum community by the militants.
He explains that the six passengers in the vehicles lost their lives during the attack claiming that security personnel have already been
drafted to the area to recover their corpses.

Last month a monarch and son was shot dead around the same root.
