The Edo state Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Monday Okpebholo has promised to construct the over twelve Kilometers Emu road when elected.
He made this known while addressing a large crowd of supporters during the ward to ward the campaign of the party at Ewohimi, Esan South East Local government area of the state.
Amidst the crowd, the APC Governorship candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo arrives Ewohimi the home town of his major rival and the PDP Candidate in the September twenty first governorship election, Asue Ighodalo for the party’s ward to ward campaign rally.
The natives in their numbers defied the heavy downpour to receive and show solidarity to the APC candidate and other leaders of the party.
The turn out of people in this community, excited the candidate and his party, as they say it’s a show of total rejection of the PDP and its candidate .
The candidate speaks in Esan language and promises to provide good governance when elected.
Other members including the former national chairman of the party, senator Adams Oshiomhole, Deputy Governorship candidate and party faithful are optimistic about their victory in the next month’s governorship election and ask the community to vote enmasse for the APC.
According to political watchers, the APC has become the bookmakers favourite so far but only the election day will determine this.
