The federal government has introduced a new digital platform to enable the private sector key into its CNG initiative.
The platform, they claim, will give the private sector a 50% discount on having their vehicles converted.
Nigeria is endowed with significant natural gas reserves, establishing it as a major player in the global energy landscape.
To ensure that these resources are not just used for economic advantage, the federal government launched the PCNG project to bring CNG to the people.
As part of its efforts, it has introduced a digital platform to reach the private sector.
The platform will provide 50% Discount on Conversion Kits Available for e-hailing riders who process conversions through their respective associations.
The adoption of CNG in Nigeria is in line with Nigeria’s national objectives to reduce carbon emissions and contribute positively to global efforts to combat climate change.
