Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and General Overseer of The Gospel Faith Mission International, Elijah Abina have enjoined Christians to be at the forefront to drive the change they desire to see.
They gave the admonition at the church’s annual convention in Ogun State.
At a time Nigeria is grappling with different challenges, the Church has been advised to lead the change it wants to see by being worthy ambassadors making positive impact in their sphere of influence.
In his keynote at the 2024 Annual International Convention of the Gospel Faith Mission International, Former Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo stressed that the church has a fundamental role to play in nation building.
On his part, the General Overseer of GOFAMINT, Elijah Abina described public office holders as ministers of God and appealed to them to uphold their constitutional responsibility of providing security and welfare for the people, bearing in mind that they will give account of their stewardship.
While acknowledging the enormity of the task of governance, Elijah Abina called for peaceful coexistence among citizens and admonished government at all levels to expedite action in maximizing the nation’s potential.
