In Kaduna State, streets are calm with minimal vehicular movement.
The government has said that there won’t be a curfew, yet the streets are empty.
The governor asked people to follow the law in his announcement on Thursday.
At least, 25 protesters were arrested on Thursday after a clash with security forces who stopped them from forcibly entering the Government House.
A security guard sustained injuries during the incident, and the Kaduna State Transport Office looted.
A combined team of security officers has now taken control of all roads leading to Government House in response to the violence in an effort to stop such occurrences.
Elsewhere, there is calm in Nyanya-Mararaba as security operatives parade environs
