Kebbi first lady and Stop Tuberculousis Champion, Zainab Nasir Idris, has commissioned a modern Drug Resistant Tuberculosis Treatment Centre at the Argungu General Hospital.
Hajiya Zainab Nasare affirmed that efforts have been stepped up to discourage stigmatisation against people living with tuberculosis as lots of lives were lost to curable diseases such as tuberculosis.
Adding that as a measure to giving them hope the centre has been improved and designed to treat patients who are resistant to drugs with modern facilities in other to help cure TB and stop its spread.
