Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has launched the construction of a 6.4-kilometre dual carriageway Argungu road project in fulfillment of his campaign promises and Infrastructural developmental project.
Governor Idris assured that funding for the project has been secured, with a 40% of the total cost already approved.
He emphasized his commitment to ensuring high-quality work and promised additional road projects across Argungu.
Commissioner for Works, Engineer Abdullahi Umar Faruk, praised Governor Idris for fulfilling campaign promises and initiating infrastructure projects.
Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Samaila Muhammadu Mera, expressed gratitude for the project and highlighted the Governor’s contributions to education and Flood victim rehabilitation in Arugungu emirate and Kebbi State at large.
Dr. Hassan Mahadi, Managing Director of Amirco Universal Concept Ltd., pledged his company’s upmost dedication to deliver quality work within six months.
Governor Idris announced the renovation of Argungu General Hospital, set to begin next week, and highlighted his administration’s accomplishments in the education sector.
