Members of the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) in Ondo State have unanimously endorsed Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for the November 16 gubernatorial election.
Members of the union also honoured the Governor with an award as the Grand Patron, describing as workers friendly Governor.
Speaking at the event, Governor Aiyedatiwa declared that the era of part payment and percentage-based salary payments is over, assuring that such practices have become a thing of the past in the State.
He thanked the union for the endorsement and award, the Governor made a firm commitment to the welfare of workers in the State, reassuring on his readiness to pay the N73, 000 new minimum wage recently approved by him.
