Dr. Oyaromade Abidemi a Consultant with the federal medical centre, FMC Gusau, Zamfara has regained freedom from his captors after nearly a month in captivity
Dr. Abidemi was abducted at his residence in Mareri, a community in Gusau the state Capital
A Reliable source in the Hospital confirmed the news to TVC NEWS
He says the Medical Doctor was released Friday night at about 9:00pm and is currently receiving medical attention
Medical personnel in Zamfara state have continued to suffer the brunt of kidnapping, a development that has forced many Doctors and Nurses to relocate to other states due to the fear of being killed or kidnapped for ransom
The release of Dr. Oyaromade is coming three days after Dr. Ganiyat Popoola of the National Eye Centre, Kaduna regained her freedom after ten months in Captivity
Doctors across the country had in the last few months staged a nationwide protest over her long stay in captivity, a move that has drawn attention which that led to her release.
