The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has described entrepreneurship as the life-blood of innovation, a catalyst for economic growth, and the driving force behind social progress.
Governor Aiyedatiwa made this remark at the opening ceremony of the Global Entrepreneurship Festival held at the International Centre for Culture and Events.

The opening ceremony of the biggest entrepreneurship summit in Akure, Ondo State, Southwest Nigeria, attracted investors from Nigeria, Africa, Europe, and America, with over ten thousand participants in attendance.
The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, who declared the event open, described entrepreneurship as the most powerful weapon to eradicate poverty and drive sustainable development.
He called for collective action to harness the power of innovation and entrepreneurial spirit for economic transformation.
The Chairman of the Entrepreneurship Village Board, Dan Walkovitz, described the village as a transformative initiative designed to help entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Entrepreneurship and the project lead, Sunmy Smart Francis, renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist Folorunso Alakija, and other speakers highlighted the importance of the summit.
