The House of Representatives is hosting government officials and members of the public to an interactive session on the four tax reform bills sent to the National Assembly by President Bola Tinubu.
Speaker, House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, says the parliament is open to the views of Nigerians and experts in attending to the bills.
The Chairman of Nigeria’s Tax Team, Taiwo Oyedele, says the country is low on budget and lower in revenue profile.
He says tax morale is low in the country.
Mr. Oyedele insists incremental progress is not enough, adding the current administration has a great opportunity to take the bull by the horn.
The Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service and the Director General, Budget office of Nigeria also speak to the necessity of the reform bills they say are the gane changers the nation needs.
