The Oyo/Osun Command of the Nigeria Customs Service says regardless of the prevailing economic conditions, the Command has made a revenue of about 15.9 Billion naira within October and November 2024.
The Comptroller of the Command Ben Oramalugo made this disclosure at a press briefing held at the Command’s Headquarters in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
He said the amount represented 33.57 per cent when compared to the sum of 11.9 Billion collected as revenue in the same period of 2023.
Other seized items include 110 (50kg) bags of foreign parboiled rice foreign Macaroni, 9,425 litres of Premium Motor Spirit and pharmaceuticals which were handed over to the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control.
