The All Progressives Congress in Osun State has alleged the State Government of secretly borrowing loans without proper use.
Addressing Journalists, the Director, Media and Publicity of the Party, Kola Olabisi also asked for the true financial situation of the State.
A coalition of civil society organizations, ‘The Osun Masterminds’ had earlier addressed a Press Conference where they alleged the State Governor of extra budget spending.
Seventy-two hours later, the APC has also alleged the Government of secretly borrowing loans at the detriment of residents of the State including the eleven billion naira spent to buy luxury vehicles for politicians.
This the party says could put the State in a financial mess if not checked.
The party also alleged the State Governor of pardoning a police officer alleged to be facing criminal and murder trial at the magistrate court in Ilesa.
But the state Government denies the allegations.
Meanwhile, the State Governor has signed four hundred and twenty-seven billion naira 2025 appropriation bill into law.
The State House of Assembly had increased the budget presented to it by 37 Billion naira.
