The Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Gandi Afolabi Olaoye, is encouraging the Yoruba nation in Plateau State to prioritize promoting peace and unity.
He also wants them to continue supporting and cooperating with both federal and state governments in moving the nation forward.
The paramount ruler of Ogbomosho land, Oba Gandi Afolabi Olaoye, is on a two-day working visit to Jos, the Plateau state capital.
His first port of call is the palace of the Gbom Gwom Jos, then the government house where he met with the council of traditional rulers and the state governor, Caleb Mutfwang.
The grand reception for him is organised by the Ogbomosho Yoruba community in Jos as their way of welcoming their paramount ruler to the North Central State.
The Oba, as the father of all the sons and daughters of Ogbomosho land, took time to admonish his subjects on national unity, promoting peaceful cohesion amongst others.
The monarch calls on all natives of Ogbomosho land to let go of their differences and join him in the journey to placing the state in its rightful level for the good of all.
