Nigerian boxer, Anthony Joshua, has paid a visit to President Bola Tinubu at his residence in the Ikoyi area of Lagos.
The two-time world heavyweight champion also presented an autograph glove to the President, signed “To the Great Asiwaju Jagaban Borgu of Africa, Bola A Tinubu.”
The development was confirmed by Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Mr. Dada Olusegun.
I a post he made on the Social media platform X formerly known as Twitter He wrote, “Champ @anthonyjoshua pays Homage to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his residence in Lagos. Presents him with his autographed glove.”
Anthony Olaseni Joshua is a former Olympic Heavyweight Champion where he represented Great Britain in the 2012 London Olympics and has also held the World Heavyweight title twice.
He is from Sagamu in the Remo part of Ogun State.
