The three communities where communal clash took place in Iwara- Oka area of Akoko South West local government have deserted their communities.
Two persons were confirmed dead by the police and several others injured in a communal clash.
The clash stemmed from mistaken identify by some youths from Ebo community who allegedly attacked some youths from Oka Odo who were on hunting expedition on Sunday.
This led to serious clash between the youths of the communities during which two persons were killed and property destroyed.
the state Commissioner of Police, Wilfred Afolabi is in the state was in the affected communities to ascertain the extent of damage.
Houses and shops were vandalized in the attack which also left many injured.
