The Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has dissolved the State Executive Council and the Secretary to the State Government.
The governor announced the dissolution at the State Executive Council meeting at the Government House in Lafia.
He thanked the outgoing council members for their contributions towards the growth of the state and wished them well in their future endeavours.
Although the exact reasons for the dissolution are not yet clear as governor Sule has been known for his efforts to restructure and strengthen the state’s administration.
In 2021, he dissolved the state executive council, citing the need for a more effective and efficient governance structure.
The removal of the SSG is also seen as a significant development, as this position plays a crucial role in advising the governor and coordinating state policies.
