The remains of former minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Lieutenant General Jeremiah Useni, have been laid to rest amidst eulogies in his country home in the Langtang North Council area of Plateau State.
The deceased general, who was also a senator representing the southern Plateau senatorial district, died after a protracted illness in France on January 23rd this year.

Dignitaries from far and near gathered at the deceased’s country home in the Langtang North Council area of Plateau State to pay their last respects to him.
The itinerary of his funeral rites includes the Christian church service ,Where eulogies from the leadership of the Nigerian army, the federal government of Nigeria, the Plateau State government, and stakeholders across places he served during his life time.
His efforts towards uniting one Nigeria irrespective of tribe, ethnicity, or religion were highly commended by stakeholders present at the funeral.
The final interment was next at the family burial ground.
The military tradition of burial was fully accorded to Lieutenant General Jeremiah Timbut Useni, with a 21-gun salute.
