Reputed as one of the safest states in the country, Gombe state government is hosting a security summit to firm up its protection network.
The general officer commanding the 3rd division of the Nigeria army, the representative of the director General of the Department of State Security, and the representative of the inspector General of police are all seated.
The security summit is a follow-up to one held in 2020 when a local security operation was lunched codenamed Hatarra.
Traditional rulers, political leaders, and influencers are also present for the security summit.
The Gombe State government also announced that it will donate 50 operational vehicles to security agencies in the State.
