Osun State Government, is set to provide free eye checkups to 345,000 public school students.
The Executive Secretary, Osun Health Insurance Agency, Rasaq Akindele who stated this while addressing Journalists in Osogbo said the motive behind the initiative is to help the students with eye defects.
Rasaq Akindele said public school teachers will be trained to identify the students with eye defects, after which the affected students will be examined by experts and given necessary treatment.
