A gathering was convened by the Citizen centre for Integrated Development and Social Rights for the police and communities in Abia state to discuss issues of security.
Other participants highlighted delay in response to crime and unprofessionalism by police officers as some of the challenges hindering police community relationship.
With continued collaboration, the police hope to not only reduce crime but also build lasting relationships based on trust, respect, and mutual understanding.
