President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed confidence that peace will be fully restored in the North East and other insecure regions before the end of his administration.
The President gave the assurance through his Chief of Staff, Ibrahim Gambari, during the inauguration of 804 reconstructed housing units in Ngaranam, Mafa local council, Borno State.
Ngaranam was one of the communities ravaged by Boko Haram insurgents in 2015 resulting in the displacement of hundreds of families who before now had taken refuge in IDP camps.

Mr Gambari expressed federal government’s determination to rebuild all destroyed communities and return the region to normalcy.
He applauded the state Governor Babagana Zulum for his dedication to meeting the needs of his people who have been victims of insurgency.
Each household that will be resettled in Ngaranam will be supported with a grant of one hundred thousand naira, cattle and food and non-food items.
A health facility, a school, a police station, and a market are among the 360 completed housing units.
