The Zamfara state government has approved the immediate reopening of Gummi, Anka and Bukkuyum local government area as well as towns, roads and markets recently closed due to heightened Insecurity in some parts of the state.
The Government also lifted the embargo enforced on political campaigns and Meetings
The approval follows the satisfactory reports received on security situation in the affected areas.

This was Confirmed by the state Commissioner for Information Ibrahim Dosara in a press statement made available to Newsmen.
Residents were advised to conduct themselves in accordance with the rule of law, as the government will not tolerate any act capable of disrupting the peace and tranquility being restored by security operatives.
The state government noted that under no circumstances will compromise its constitutional responsibilities of protecting lives and property of citizens
The Zamfara state government had on October 14th ordered the shutdown of Three local councils, nine Villages, two Major Markets, Seven Township Roads and Ban Political Activities due to Resurgence of Banditry and Kidnapping
A development that led to the shutdown of Nigerian Television Authority, NTA Gusau, Federal Radio Cooperation, Pride FM Gusau and three other Media Houses for alleged Unprofessional conduct.
The Zamfara Government had in September 2021 shutdown telecommunication network, weekly markets, sell of fuel in Jerrycans and the use of Motorcycles in some Communities to curtail the activities of terrorists.
