The presidency has dismissed reports of a dispute between President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
The clarification was made through the senior special assistants to the president on national assembly matters, Babajide Omoworare and Umar Yakubu.
This follows reports that a number of the vice president’s aides have been relieved of their appointments although the statement neither confirmed nor denied it.
There are also complaints by some Nigerians about the president’s frequent trips abroad and the non-transfer of power to his vice.
But Mr Omoworare notes that section 145 of the constitution permits the president to work from anywhere except when indisposed.
