The Bill was introduced by the Senator representing Ogun Central, Ibikunle Amosun at Today’s plenary.
Senator Amosun said the bill seeks to address developmental issues in the states which make up the South West geo-political zone.
Already in existing is the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and the North East Development Commission (NEDC), which received presidential assent in October 2017.
