The Department of State Services has issued an alert against plots to cause a breakdown of law and order in various parts of the country.
The service warned that any attempt to create disorder, will not be condoned.
The DSS said the planned actions have been designed to take place simultaneously in the major cities across the geopolitical zones, including the federal capital, in the coming weeks, particularly during the yuletide seasons.
It also revealed that the acts were meant to instigate protests, mass action and violence with a view to causing anarchy and destabilizing the country.
The Service sent out a warning to the alleged plotters to desist from their acts, while parents are advised to take charge of their wards.
Heads of academic and public institutions have also being advised to warn their students and employees, from engaging in any untoward activity, outrightly against public order.
