Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, has urged the Nigeria Football Federation to shun corruption and adopt transparency in their conduct.
Dare was speaking at the Annual General Meeting of the NFF in Benin City on Tuesday.
The minister’s call for transparency comes in the wake of ongoing corruption investigations against the board of the NFF.
Dare demanded that the NFF addressed the negative perception of corruption around it.
The minister also said unfounded allegations, insinuations, blackmail and smear campaign won’t distract him from giving his best while in office.
